    That’s a great picture!

And you are so very right. Only kids don’t mind the way it feels on their feet when it’s tracked into *my* kitchen, and unlike me, they don’t seem to hate the way it sticks to their skin at the beach. Can you tell I hate sand? Hate it, hate it, hate it.

  3. Denise says:

When we are at the beach I go through a mental shift to allow myself to sit in the sand and play with the kids. I can’t stand having sand all over me but they have it everywhere and if I want to hang with them, I gotta jump right in. But at home, I won’t let them play in sand boxes. Sand is a beach thing and it stays there :)

I actually really don’t like sand at all. It always takes me a day or two at the beach to get over it and to move on with the having fun part of it with my kids!

I don’t mind sand on my feet and if I am feeling extra sassy I will let me kids burry me in the sand. Sand has a time and a place and that place is never in my ass, but somehow always wants to get wedged in there. HA!
