2010 Pine Ridge Chenin Blanc + Viognier

pine ridge chenin blanc viognier, pine ridge, pine ridge vineyards, chenin blanc, viognierI love a bright, lush wine to pair with weeknight dinners.

Pine Ridge Vineyards has created a delicious everyday white wine.

The 2010 Chenin Blanc + Viognier blend.

The Chenin Blanc (79%) brings the pear, crisp apples and citrus fruit to this wine.

The Viognier (21%) adds some nice peach and lemon flavors.

It is a beautiful zesty, light to medium bodied white wine.

Have I mentioned the price? $9.99 to $14.00 depending on where you buy it.

Yep, that’s it. A Pine Ridge wine for around $10. Talk about a screaming value. I love all the fruit balanced nicely with the acidity in this wine. It’s fresh and crisp with a nice finish. I enjoy the pear and melon notes balanced with the lemon acidity. It gives you that hint of sweet with a kick!

I love sipping on this wine as an aperitif and also really enjoy it with my Spicy Spinach & Feta Hummus Dip.

Pine Ridge Chenin Blanc + Viognier will also pair nicely with the following foods:

~ Cheese Hors d’oeuvres

~ Seafood appetizers

~ Salads

~ Roasted Chicken

~ Sushi (spicy tuna rolls, seared halibut)

~Thai food

This sounds delish. And anything I can drink with sushi or cheese makes me just a little happier.
